Description
Lieutenant Mary M. Pringle of Los Angeles, California, has been assigned to take charge of Women's Army Corps (WAC) recruiting in Fort Worth area replacing Lieutenant Hannah Jewitt. Lieutenant Pringle enlisted in the Women's Army Corps (WAC) as a private and received her commission after completing Officer Candidate School at Fort Des Moines. She attended Long Beach Junior College and was in credit work and also worked for the Los Angeles Ship Building Corporation before entering the WAC. She is shown standing against a bare wall, wearing military uniform and smiling for the camera. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 26, 1944.
