Texas Rural Letter Carriers Association convention at Hotel Texas. Left to right, Bun Raley, Valley Mills, President of the Letter Carriers; Art McKay, Amarillo, secretary-treasurer and J. E. M. Hamilton, Hamilton, first vice-president. They are shown standing against a bare wall and smiling for the photo. All are wearing suits and ties and eyeglasses. An attendance of about 500 is expected at the two meetings. Improvement of roads, a peacetime as well as wartime concern of the carriers, will be discussed during the convention.
