    Description

    Private First Class Edgar F. Cunningham, 23, United States Marine Corps (USMC), son of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Cunningham of Dumas, wounded in Saipan. He is a veteran of the Marshall Islands campaign. Cunningham, reared in Hamilton and a graduate of Hamilton High School, worked in Fort Worth two years before he entered service a year ago. Cunningham wears his uniform in the portrait photograph. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 23, 1944.
