Description

Representatives from the peanut industry are meeting to discuss the wartime importance of peanuts. Sitting on a couch, left to right, are J. B. Hudson, Miss Modane Marchbanks, and J. D. Sargent. Mr. Hudson is president of the Commodity Credit Corporation. He is dressed in a double breasted, pinstripe suit. Miss. Marchbanks, of Atlanta, Georgia, is the executive secretary of the National Peanut Council. She is wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a dress. Mr. Sargent, of Tolar, Texas, is president of the Southwestern Peanut Growers Association. He is dressed in a double breasted suit.
