Lueders Airman Wins Decorations -- Second Lieutenant Joseph W. Kell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Kell of Lueders, has been awarded the Air Medal and three clusters as co-pilot of a B-17 Flying Fortress based in England. Kell's wife, the former Miss Martha Post, lives in Denver City. Before he entered the service he was a stone cutter and draftsman. He went overseas in February. Lieutenant Kell is pictured here wearing helmet.
