Second Lieutenant John D. Cooper, graduated at La Junta, Colorado, and has reported to Del Rio for further training after visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Cooper. He graduated from Arlington Heights High School, attended Texas Wesleyan College(TWC) and worked in production-engineering at Convair. He is in his military uniform in the half length portrait. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, July 13, 1944.
