Major Hiram Broiles is a pilot in the Army Air Forces. He pilots an Air Transport Command (ATC) plane, photographing all of the principal air routes of the world. Major Broiles has flown more than nine times around the earth in less than two years. He is shown sitting on the edge of a desk with his hand resting atop a globe. The major is dressed in his military uniform.
