    Description

    A copy of the military portrait photograph of Sergeant Lawrence G. Priest, of the Army Air Force, who was reported missing in action on July 2, 1944, over Yugoslavia. The 21-year-old is a waist gunner and chief armorer on a Flying Fortress based in Italy. He had been overseas for two months. Sergeant Priest is a 1939 graduate of Paschal High School. He entered the service in March of 1943 and received his wings later the same year in Las Vegas, Nevada.
