    With the newly acquired fire truck of the Oakcrest Civic League's volunteer fire fighters are, Left to right, E. B. Kinsey, secretary-treasurer of the league; Floyd Prater, who did much of the work of rehabilitating the truck; and P. W. Worthington, head of a group of interested citizens who are building a garage to house the equipment. Prater stands next to the engine with his hand on a control panel, while Kinsey and Worthington wearing coats and hardhats, look on. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 14, 1944.
