Principal winners in the Oakhurst Garden Club's annual spring flower show held at Oakhurst school were Mrs. I. P. Barrett, left, who shows her grand prize ribbon to Mrs. Theo Cromer, sweepstakes winner. Mrs. Cromer's prize arrangement is at the center on the table in front of them. There are also candles and plates and glassware on the table. Mrs. Baarrett is incoming president of the club and Mrs. Cromer is the retiring president. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 11, 1944.
