Description

Colonel Claude Edwin Putnam, right, is home after a 26-month operational tour on an English base. He is spending Father's Day with his wife, Mrs. Claude Edwin Putnam, left, and their daughter, Eddie Paula Putnam. His parents, Dr. and Mrs. E. C. Putnam, were also at the Texas and Pacific Railway Station to greet the colonel. Colonel Putnam, 28, is an experienced pilot in the Army Air Force. He led the first American bomber raid over Germany. He is dressed in his military uniform. Mrs. Putnam is wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a checkered dress. Eddie Paula is wearing a bonnet and a dress.
