Description

Plunging down the embankment on the approach to the Three Mile Bridge opposite the 440 block of the White Settlement Road, a Fort Worth Transit Company bus en route from Liberator Village at 1:50 p.m. rolled over twice, inflicting injuries on 53 passengers. A long skid in which 11 concrete guard posts were sheared off preceded the plunge. The accident occurred during a heavy rainstorm. In this picture is the bus surrounded by a crowd.
