Description

The Fort Worth Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) celebrated a centennial banquet and final building debt liquidation observance. Burning the last note for $27,580.14 of the YMCA indebtedness at the centennial banquet is the president, aided by four past presidents. Shown is a copy of the cancelled draft issued by the South Texas Commercial National Bank covering final debt payment for $27,580.18 of the YMCA of Fort Worth. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 7, 1944.
