    Description

    The Fort Worth Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) celebrated a centennial banquet and final building debt liquidation observance. Preparing to burn the last note for $27,580.14 of the YMCA indebtedness at the centennial banquet is the president, aided by four past presidents. The men are holding the note above an urn, left to right, Fred B. Porter; Doctor C. P. Schenck, current president; W. T. Ladd; Hal. S. Lattinore and Sterling Holloway. The membership also adopted a resolution praising the work of T. J. Harrell, past president, in raising funds to liquidate the debt. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, June 7, 1944.
