Description
Rosen Heights Baptist Church is holding a dedication ceremony Sunday, June 4, 1944. As part of the ceremony, they are burning a $30,000 note, canceling all indebtedness. Standing at the pulpit, left to right, are W. L. Forbes, Deacon George Adams, Reverend Jesse Garrett, Deacon Bill Scott, and Deacon R. E. Franklin. Mr. Forbes, church treasurer, is shown striking the match. Reverend Garrett is the pastor of the church. All five men are dressed in suits. The church property is valued at $140,00 with a membership of 2,700.
