Description

Copy of a military portrait photograph of Technical Sergeant Leo Fines, a radio operator on a B-17. The 23-year-old has been missing in action since a raid over France on April 27, 1944. Sergeant Fines has been serving overseas with the Army Air Force since October of 1943. He holds the Air Medal with two oak leave clusters. Sergeant Fines is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. He is pictured wearing his military uniform. His wife is Mrs. Helen S. Fines.
