Technical Sergeant William O. Dennis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otis N. Dennis, was reported missing in action. Sergeant Dennis, twenty-three, is an engineer gunner on a B-17 operating over Germany. His last letter to his parents was dated on May 11. Sergeant Dennis is a former football player at Technical High School where he lettered in the backfield. He enlisted in the Navy September 11, 1942. Sergeant Dennis is pictured in his military uniform.
