Deputy United States Marshall, Guy Cross, is questioning Kenneth Garland Green, right, Fort Worth ex-convict, at the Federal Courthouse. Green is facing a federal charge of making railroad property unsafe by placing spikes against the rail along a curve in the Texas and Pacific Railway tracks near Roanoke, Texas. Deputy Cross is wearing a double breasted suit and holding a piece of paper. Mr. Green is sitting in a desk chair. He is dressed in a button up shirt, coat, and trousers. There is a map of the United States on the back wall.
