Description
Reverend J. Hoytt Boles, retiring pastor of Hemphill Presbyterian Church, is clasping the hand of J. J. Ray Senior, ninty-eight year old elder, as Miss Eva Mae Osterman and G. J. Post look on. Reverend Boles is dressed in a three piece suit with a corsage on the lapel. Mr. Ray is wearing a vest, coat, and trousers. He is carrying a cane. Miss Osterman is president of the Woman's Council. She is wearing a dress and a necklace. Mr. Post is an elder and toastmaster of the pastor's farewell dinner. He is wearing a suit with a handkerchief in the pocket.
