    Description

    Redecoration for the Fort Worth Teen Canteen is under way for its summer opening June 9. Participating in the redecorating, left to right are Pat Timbes and Patsy Green. They are shown cleaning their hands after painting and mirror polishing. Both teenagers, students at Paschal High School. They are shown sitting outside the Canteen on wooden steps. Pat is wearing a checkered blouse, with a pleated skirt and Oxford saddle shoes. Patsy is wearing a collared blouse with a jumper and loafers. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 25, 1944.
