Description
Private James Harold Shivers, Fort Worth Army Air Field mechanic, on his first tour of the city. Shown with him are two women traffic cops, Mrs. Mildred La Fontaine (left) and Mrs. Ruby Basket. The three are shown standing outside while Mrs. La Fontaine is pointing out the tall buildings in the city. She and Mrs. basket are wearing traffic cop uniforms completed with hats and jackets while Private Shivers is in military uniform. Shivers has his mouth agape while he holds on to his hat, stunned at the height of the buildings. Mrs. Basket looks on. Behind them are other personnel in uniform and a small shack.
