Description
Private Leonard B. Conley, son of Mr. And Mrs. J. L. Conley, has spent the last 22 months overseas and stationed in New Guinea and Australia. He was first attached to the combat engineers and later joined the Quartermaster Corps. He is a graduate of Polytechnic High School and attended the University of Texas. Before entering the service he was an architectural engineer and industrial designer and owned a firm. He is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Conley before reporting to Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas. Conley is pictured wearing full uniform, including ribbons for the American theater, Southwest Pacific, Good Conduct and Veteran of Foreign Wars. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 17, 1944.
