Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Price. After a year's separation by war, Mickey Price, seaman first class, who has just returned from Navy duty in the Southwest Pacific, and his school-day sweetheart, the former Miss Sarah Jane McDonald, were married and are en-route to San Francisco. The 19-year-old sailor has spent nine months in Australia, New Guinea and other Pacific islands. As a gun pointer, he participated in two major engagements at the Bay of Crete and at Truk. The young couple were married at All Saints Parish Home by Father John Maher. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin McDonald. He is a son of Mrs. J. F. Anders. In this picture, Mrs. Price is wearing an over coat with decorative pin next to the lapel. Her hair is partially pulled back and curled. She is wearing dangling earrings. Mr. Price is standing next to her, wearing his Navy uniform. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
