Lieutenant and Mrs. W. A. Martin were married at Saint Rita's Catholic Church in Handley. Lieutenant Martin is the son of Mrs. Kathryn B. Martin, Chicago, Illinois. Mrs. Martin was the former Miss Betty Pool, daughter of Mr. W. C. Pool of Evanston, Illinois, and a sister of Mrs. W. A. Cornish, 5020 Hampshire. Lieutenant Martin is in military uniform and Mrs. Martin is in a long sleeved, with puffy shoulders, wedding dress. She has on a wedding veil with flowers on both sides of her hair. Her dress has a collar and fabric-covered buttons down the front. She has on a large medallion necklace. Her right hand is holding a small flower bouquet, with tied ribbons hanging down. Both Lieutenant and Mrs. Martin are holdings hands as they cut their three layer wedding cake. In front of them is a dining table covered with a table cloth, upright napkins, glasses and various food items. Behind them is a tall curtained window and floral drapery.
