Description
Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Barnum, of 1518 Cooper Street, are being honored for 24 years of service as Sunday school teachers at First Methodist Church. They have been residents of Fort Worth since 1889. Their first class of 10 couples was organized in 1920. The class has grown through the years and the regular attendance was 75 couples, but due to the war, membership is less. Five hundred invitations has already been mailed out for this occasion. Mr. Barnum is wearing a suit and tie with pocket square. Mrs. Barnum is wearing a v-neckline dress with lace on sleeve and dress top. She is wearing a butterfly brooch, rose necklace, and glasses. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, April 23, 1944.
