Description
The Fort Worth, Texas Red Cross Blood Donor mobile unit launched a series of out-of-town stands, to include Decatur, Texas using the First United Methodist Church in Decatur as the headquarters. Lieutenant H. M. Mote, standing, watches Miss LaVada Gage, a teacher, center, write his name on the donor's honor roll, while his wife (left) looks on. Mrs. Mote and Miss Gage are sitting at a table. Mrs. Mote is wearing a blazer and blouse. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 9, 1944.
