Description
The American Red Cross Blood Donor Service mobile unit is visiting Henrietta, Texas to serve the surrounded Clay County communities. The unit is stationed outside First Methodist Church. Taking blood donations are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schicht. Mrs. Schicht, registration chairman, is filling out a registration card for her husband. She is wearing a plaid button-up dress. Mr. Schicht is dressed in a button-up shirt and a leather jacket. He is wearing eyeglasses and his cowboy hat is on the table. He is an honorably discharged soldier. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, April 6, 1944.
