    Description

    The American Red Cross Blood Donor Service mobile unit is visiting Henrietta, Texas. Visiting the mobile unit, left to right are, Nannie Catherine Howard, Mrs. W. J. Howard, and J. M. Gower. Nannie, Kiwanis sweetheart, donated blood. She is wearing a checkered blouse and a shawl over her shoulders. Mrs. Howard is serving canteen refreshments to her daughter, Nannie, and J. M. Gower of Charlie, Texas. Mrs. Howard is dressed in a button-up blouse and a skirt. Mr. Gower is dressed in a collared shirt, necktie, trousers, and a shawl over his shoulders. He has a son, Staff Sergeant (Sgt.) Stanley P. Gower, in the Army Air Forces in Missouri. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 7, 1944.
