Description
Captain T. J. Higgins Junior, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Higgins, of Big Springs, Texas is in Fort Worth visiting relatives here for the first time since he went overseas in July 1942. Capt. Higgins was stationed in Guatemala and Panama before he joined General Chennault's Flying Dragons a year ago.. He also spent time in Africa and India. Although he was reported missing at one time, Capt. Higgins said that was erroneous. He was just about two weeks late in returning from a mission. He was forced down over Indo-China and in bailing out injured his knee when it struck the plane's tail. Capt. Higgins is wearing his military uniform and sitting in a chair. There are two storage cabinets behind him. Star-Telegram Morning March 19, 1944
