Pieter Brouwer, a Dutch patriot, is visiting Fort Worth, Texas. He was an aeronautical engineer when he entered Holland's compulsory military training five days before England entered the war against Germany. He and his comrades were held prisoner in their own barracks for two weeks. Mr. Brouwer was eventually transferred to twelve different prisons. He managed to escape between the underground of France, Holland, and Belgium before receiving passage to England. Mr. Brouwer is in the United States as a representative of the Netherlands Information Bureau. He is standing against a wall, dressed in a striped suit.
