Description
Mary Ellen Davis and Corporal Walter M. Jarmel were married Saturday by Reverend James K. Thompson. Mrs. Jarmel was married in a gray squirrel-trimmed Navy blue suit with a hat of orange blossoms and a gardenia corsage. During World War I, Corporal Jarmel (then 12) was traveling with his mother and brother in Europe when he was interned in a German prison camp for nine months. Now Corporal Jarmel works with German prisoners as interpreter and censor at Camp Walters. He speaks five languages in total.
