Mrs. Walter Smith, a 60 year old woman was born February 29, 1884. It was however only the fourteenth anniversary of Mrs. Smith's Leap Day birth. But her rare birthday never stopped her from celebrating. She's had a party every year on March 1st except when it was a leap year and February 29 was available. Mrs. Smith is wearing a dress and a necklace. She is sitting on a quilted couch and holding a February 1944 calendar.
