Description
Miss Mary Yates, 23, clerk of Tarrant County District Court. Miss Yates took over the difficult job of being clerk to Judge A.J. Power's busy 96th District Court. It was the first time in twenty-three years that a woman held the post of clerk at one of the four district courts in Tarrant County. Miss Yates has plenty of experience having served as deputy for Claud Wall, clerk of Criminal District Court. Miss Yates is wearing a checked blazer. She is sitting at a desk and there is wood paneling and columns behind her. She is smiling as she writes in a logbook.
