Description
The Quartermaster Depot is hosting a belated, but successful, Washington's Birthday party at the Lena Pope Home for two-hundred children. Some of those on hand are left to right, Lieutenant N. K. Hibshman, Major Jeff Handerson with Jimmie R. Johnson, Mrs. Leighton Fox, Lieutenant James O. Powers, and Major M. S. White. The men are dressed in their military uniforms. Mrs. Fox is wearing a button-up blouse with her embroidered initials "L. B. F." and a skirt. Jimmie is wearing a winter coat. There is a service flag hanging on the stone wall.
