Description
Hubert C. Holland was elected president and treasurer of the Dickson-Jenkins Manufacturing Company. He is succeeding the late E. W. Dickson. The firm manufactures khaki shirts and pants for the Army in addition to their other clothing lines. The new president is a native of Lamar County, Texas. He quit school at the age of 11 to work in a dry goods store. He later worked with a clothing firm in Paris, Texas. Mr. Holland was one of the original stockholders when the Dickson-Jenkins Manufacturing Company began in 1927. He has served as vice president and treasurer since 1940. He is standing against a wall, wearing a three piece suit.
