Left to right are Winifred Scott and her mother, Mrs. Charlotte Morgan O'Neill. The mother and daughter are shown talking during a recess in a hearing in the 67th District Court. Winfield Scott, father of the girl, offered to pay $50 a week for the girl's support until she is 21. Mr. Scott and Mrs. O'Neill divorced in 1929. The women are sitting at a round table in the courthouse. Winifred is wearing a tweed blazer. Mrs. O'Neill is dressed in a hat, blouse, and a pinstripe blazer.
