Description
Jesus Silva to be tried for the murder of his brother-in law. Mrs. Katie Mae Silva was granted a divorce from Jesus Silva, in the 96th District Court so that she could testify against him. He is on trial on a charge of fatally wounding her brother, Lloyd A. Williams on Dec. 22. Silva is also under indictment for assault to murder his former wife, whom he is charged with wounding at the same time he shot Williams. Mrs. Silva is recuperating from gunshot wounds and Silva is being held in the county jail. Silva is wearing a double breasted pinstripe suit and is photographed from the knees up. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 31, 1944.
