Description
San Angelo's two coaches, Jewell Wallace (right) and Puss Erwin, were given a ride by their football players after Saturday's state championship football game. San Angelo players include Sam Callan (extreme left) and Dennis Doyle (34). The two coaches are being carried by the players on their shoulders celebrating their victory. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 26, 1943.
