    Description

The Grain and Feed Dealers National Association is holding their 43rd annual convention in Fort Worth, Texas. Attending the Seed and Grain School, left to right, are W. D. Deacon and R. G. Rowell. Mr. Deacon, of Grapevine, Texas, is smelling a handful of grain for any trace of mustiness or dust. He is dressed in a button-up shirt, necktie, sweater, and trousers. His hat is sitting upside down on the windowsill. Mr. Rowell, of Anson, Texas, is estimating the percentage of germination in the sample as he separates seeds with dead germs from the good grain. He is wearing a three piece suit.
