Description
Frank Pulliam, a cement contractor, is selling war bonds. He outfitted his car with a public address system and is plugging the drive over the speakers. He urged everyone within a ten-block radius to purchase bonds for the Interstate Theater's War Bond Premiere of "Madame Curie." Mr. Pulliam is dressed in a cowboy hat and a three-piece suit. He is parked in front of the Continental Bank Building. Mr. Pulliam's 26-year-old son, Staff Sergeant Emmett Lee Pulliam, is stationed with the Army Air Forces in Kearney, Nebraska.
