Description
A group of students of Oakhurst Elementary School shown with their contribution to the waste paper campaign being conducted in public schools. The floor is covered in tall stacks of paper on which the children are sitting. In the foreground, center, are Lawrence and Frances Barkley. In the rear, far right, is Carla Sue Davidson, who collected 1.500 pounds of paper. Others left to right, are Joe Taylor, Bob Hardie and Dennis Conarty. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition January 23, 1944.
