The Texas Big Bend Park Association is sponsoring a statewide contest to design the park's souvenir honorary deeds. The deeds are given to contributors to the Big Bend National Park. The winning Texas art student will receive a $25 cash prize. Merle McMillen is an Arlington Heights High School art student. He is sitting on top of a desk, sketching his entry. Merle is dressed in a striped button-up shirt and trousers.
