    Description

A military conference on the nationwide technical and flying training program brought a four star General to Fort Worth, Texas. Visiting the Fort Worth Club, left to right, are General H. H. Arnold and Lieutenant General Barton K. Yount. The men were classmates at West Point in the class of 1907. They are arguing as to which had the highest scholastic rating in their class. General Arnold is the chief of the Army Air Forces (AAF). General Yount is the commanding general of the Army Air Forces (AAF) Training Command. Both are dressed in their military uniforms. A table in front of the sofa has a number of items on it, including a bowl of nuts. Decorating the room is a side chair, floor lamp and a stylized statue of a man. There are several paintings on the walls. Behind the sofa is a large window with draperies. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 7, 1944.
