Description
General H. H. Arnold, chief of the Army Air Forces, is visiting Fort Worth, Texas. He is a guest at the Fort Worth Club and is shown seated on a sofa and cracked a pecan with a nutcracker. He is dressed in his military uniform. General Arnold's aim is to end the war and bring the boys back home. An unidentified man is sitting beside him. On the coffee table is a large bowl of mixed nuts. A draped window is behind the sofa. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 7, 1944.
