W. C. Deigh, left, and Frank Hughes Junior, of the Salvation Army Civitan Club, taking up collections for the Salvation Army. Mr. Deigh and Mr. Hughes are standing outside on either side of a sign that reads "Give To The Salvation Army for Christmas Cheer Keep The Pot Boiling." Hanging under the sign is a bucket for the donations. They are wearing long coats, hats, gloves and eyeglasses and are holding bells in their hands. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition December 16, 1943.
