He ran against President Franklin Roosevelt in 1940 and is campaigning to do so again. He is dressed in a hat, three-piece suit, and a long coat. Mrs. Davis and her husband played host to the presidential candidate. Mrs. Davis is wearing a hat with a veil, a fur coat, and gloves. Mrs. Herbert is wearing a hat, dress, coat, and a hand-warmer. A crowd of people and the press box are in the background.
