    Doctor and Mrs. E. D. Head, sitting at home side by side on a sofa , relaxing at home. Dr. Head is the president of the Baptist Seminary. He taught at Baylor University as a Bible instructor until 1932 when he was called to the First Baptist Church at Houston, where he remained until his election as head of the seminary. In June of 1942, the honorary degree of Doctor of Divinity was conferred at Baylor, and November 11, this year,, he was named president of the Baptist General Convention of Texas. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 3, 1943.
