Doctor E. D. Head, president of Baptist Seminary at his desk, catching up with work. His recent election to the presidency of the Baptist General Convention of Texas includes 3,248 churches and made up of 800,170 Baptists, added to his duties. He will attend a meeting of the executive committee of the Southern Baptist Convention at Nashville. "When this war ends," the educator added " the people of the World will look to the Christian missionary for Spiritual support...". With this thought in mind, Doctor. Head is directing the training of hundred of young men and women at the seminary who will carry the battle of Christianity. He is proud that already 330 former seminary students are serving as chaplains, and more than 400 are in the armed services.
