Description

Six new members of the Nu Phi Mu sorority. In front (center) is Miss Monett Brock. Standing in the back row, left to right, are Misses Virginia Scales, Mary Stegall, Marita Massey, Susie Turner and Kitty Scales. Initiation services were conducted by Miss Edith Davies, president, at the house of Miss Stegall, who was chosen best pledge. Miss Martha Jane Dyer, also a new member, is not pictured. Miss Virginia Scales is wearing a dark colored dress with a lace collar and lace trim along the sleeves. Miss Stegall is wearing a blouse and a skirt. Miss Turner is wearing a plaid blouse and a skirt and is holding a handbag. Miss Kitty Scales is wearing a polka-dot dress. Miss Brock is wearing a dress with ruffle detailing along the neckline and on the front pockets of the skirt. She is also wearing a corsage.
