Second Lieutenant Sheldon Olmsted.Clipping:"Lt. Olmsted Gets Wings, Will Take Bomber TrainingSecond Lt. Sheldon Olmsted, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy N. Olmsted, 2110 Thomas Place, received his wings Wednesday at Frederick, Okla., and has been assigned to Fort Worth Army Air Field for transitional training in four-motor planes.Olmsted, who attended the University of Texas, entered the Air Forces last Jan. 20, and received basic training at Enid, Okla. Prior to enlisting, he was a radio announced at Kilgore. Lieutenant Olmsted has a brother-in-law, First Lt. Jack W. Rollow, who is also in the Air Forces." A man in an Army Air Forces dark uniform jacket with a light shirt and matching solid color tie and dark service cap.
